[ Folded plates structure ]

In this exercise , we were asked to apply one of the structural systems we have introduces to in previous discussions in order to define a space that is going to be used to host an artistic work inside it . In this design , we have used folded plates system in order to define the space . Moreover , to make the space more well-defined and in order to solve the low height of the overhead parts , the ground of the space is depressed below the normal level . Also , the folded plate system is spanning starting from two points and changing its direction in the middle of the structure .
